Teriyaki Abalone
Ingredients:
- 1 x Ausab Canned Abalone in Brine
- 250ml light soy sauce
- 200ml mirin
- 200ml sake
- 60g sugar
- Rice and Asian greens, to serve
Instructions:
- Remove abalone from the can and thinly slice. Discard the brine, and set aside the meat.
- In a small can, combine all remaining ingredients to create a glaze. Ensure the sugar has been completely dissolved.
- Then add the sliced abalone pieces to sauce to heat through. Be sure not to overcook the abalone.
- Serve immediately with rice and Asian greens.
