Teriyaki Abalone

Ausab Teriyaki Abalone

Ingredients:

  • 1 x Ausab Canned Abalone in Brine
  • 250ml light soy sauce
  • 200ml mirin
  • 200ml sake
  • 60g sugar
  • Rice and Asian greens, to serve
Instructions:

  • Remove abalone from the can and thinly slice. Discard the brine, and set aside the meat.
  • In a small can, combine all remaining ingredients to create a glaze. Ensure the sugar has been completely dissolved.
  • Then add the sliced abalone pieces to sauce to heat through. Be sure not to overcook the abalone.
  • Serve immediately with rice and Asian greens.
